GS VER UpEnergy’s Uganda Biomass Cookstove Project
GS VER UpEnergy's Uganda Biomass Cookstove Project
Up Energy's Uganda project is promoting the sale of improved energy-saving biomass stoves. The project will work through local and international organizations as well as local and imported stove distributors to reach Uganda with more efficient cooking technologies. The project will sell improved biomass stoves, investing revenues from carbon finance in subsidies, social marketing, and the development of robust distribution channels. Impact Carbon will manage the development of the carbon asset.
