Canakkale WPP
Çanakkale Wind Power Plant is located between Üvecik Village and Mahmudiye Town of Çanakkale Province in the Western part of Turkey. The total installed capacity is 29.9 MW and annual electricity generation is estimated to be 91,570 MWh. The project consists of 13 Siemens SWT 101 wind turbines, each having a capacity of 2.3 MWs. The electricity will be transmitted to an existing substation at Çanakkale Natural Gas Fired Power Plant via an underground power line. The project was operational on 11th February 2011 and registered on 3rd August 2012 under the Gold Standard.
