Eksim Enerji A.Ş plans to invest into new wind power plant to generate electricity and feed it into the Turkish grid. The wind power plant is planned to be built close to Sarayova village of Hasanbeyli district in the province of Osmaniye in Turkey. The project consists 20 turbines with 2.5 MW rated power for each. Having 50 MW installed power in total, the project will generate around 150 GWh electricity annually. Comparing with baseline situation for electricity system of Turkey, this amount of electricity generation will lead around 100.000 tonnes carbondioxide emission reduction per year. The project licence has been granted in November 2011 from EMRA. Environmental Impact Assessment studies have completed positively and with this, the critical permissions to start project activity has been completed.
