The project focuses on the capture and destruction of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, from seven landfills across Hungary. This prevents it from entering the atmosphere by using a modern, environmentally friendly system to capture and dispose of landfill gas.

The backbone pipelines are equipped with certified meters that provide essential data for the project's monitoring system. To ensure accurate tracking of gas quality, a gas analyzer has been installed along with temperature and pressure gauges. All data is automatically recorded. For transparency, a Periodic Verification Checklist (PVC) is generated to monitor progress and compliance.

The project covers 7 landfills in Aszód, Balassagyarmat, Dunaújváros, Fehérgyarmat, Gödöllő, Mátészalka and Vác.
